I was one credit away from an art history minor in college; I gave up only because I couldn’t remember any of the dates in which the artists created their works. I am really not a ‘numbers’ person. Looking back on history through art always tells a wonderful story, especially this one. In one of the earliest examples of human writing, curators believe a tablet (ha!) kept track of salaries – which were paid in beer! I wonder how long before history repeats itself…
