Privacy Policy
SW33T Design & Creative
Effective date: October 8, 2026
This policy describes how SW33T Design & Creative (“SW33T,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information collected through sw33t.com and in the course of design, branding, and website projects. It is written for a small Colorado studio. It is not legal advice. Review it with your own counsel before publishing, and update the contact email if you want a dedicated privacy address.
Who we are
SW33T Design & Creative is a graphic design, branding, and custom website studio based in Arvada, Colorado. The site is operated by Sarah Jacobs.
Mailing / meeting address: Thrive Workplace, 5610 Ward Rd. #300, Arvada, CO 80002
Phone: (720) 800-7001
Web: https://sw33t.com (project request form)
Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Project request form. Name, email, phone, the department or type of inquiry, and whatever you write in “Tell us your story,” plus any files you attach.
- Email, phone, and voicemail. If you call or write, we keep what you send so we can reply and, if we work together, so we can do the project.
- Project files. Logos, copy, photos, brand notes, login details you choose to share, invoices, and contracts.
- Payments. Card payments are processed by the payment provider named on the invoice (for example Stripe). All of our payments are handled through the 3rd party processor. We do not store card numbers.
Information collected automatically:
- Server logs. Like most sites, the host may record IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of the request. These are used to run and secure the site. We do not use it to sell data or build advertising profiles.
- Cookies and similar storage. Matomo may set a first-party analytics cookie. WordPress and Gravity Forms may set cookies needed to run the form and keep the site working (for example a session or spam-check cookie). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How we use information
- To answer inquiries and prepare proposals.
- To perform design, branding, WordPress, and related project work, and to deliver files.
- To send invoices, contracts, and project updates you asked for.
- To keep the site secure (spam filtering, honeypot fields, log review) and to understand which pages are useful.
- To meet bookkeeping, tax, and legal duties.
We do not use inquiry or client information for unrelated marketing blasts. If we ever send a newsletter, it will be optional and easy to leave.
We share information only as needed to run the studio:
- Email and form delivery so we actually receive your message.
- Hosting and site infrastructure for sw33t.com.
- Payment processors, banks, and accountants for billing.
- A client’s own host, domain registrar, or printer when you ask us to install a site or send files for production.
- Professional advisors or authorities if required by law, or to protect the studio, a client, or the public from fraud or harm.
We do not sell lists. We do not outsource design work to overseas or white-label firms. Subprocessors see only what they need for their job.
Client work and portfolio
Project files are used to do the work described in the contract. Copyright in final design work transfers as stated in that contract, generally upon final payment. We may show completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to. We will not publish private business information (pricing, unreleased products, login credentials) in a portfolio.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries we do not hire: long enough to reply and for ordinary business records, then deleted or archived.
- Client project files and contracts: for the life of the project and a reasonable archive period so we can support the work and meet tax and legal record rules.
- Analytics: aggregated or raw visit data kept only as long as it is useful for understanding the site.
- Server logs: on the host’s ordinary rotation schedule.
Security
The site runs on a maintained WordPress install with spam controls on the form. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Do not send passwords or full payment card numbers through the project form or regular email. Use the payment link on an invoice for cards, and a password manager or your host’s invite flow for credentials.
Your choices
- You can browse most of the site without submitting the form.
- You may block cookies in your browser.
- You may ask what project or inquiry information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep for contracts, taxes, or disputes.
- Use the project request form, or call (720) 800-7001. We may need to confirm it is you before changing or deleting records.
SW33T is based in Colorado. The Colorado Privacy Act applies only to controllers that meet its size thresholds. We do not sell personal data and we do not meet those thresholds in the ordinary course of this studio. We still honor reasonable access, correction, and deletion requests as described above.
sw33t.com is aimed at business owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Portfolio links, client sites, and map links leave sw33t.com. Their privacy practices are their own.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you have the updated policy.
